Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa Officiant – Where do I begin to tell you what a great day this was. Although the marine layer moved in on Mission Bay a little early in the day, the view for Holly and Jason’s Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa wedding was perfect. 
Mission bay is beautiful anytime of the year, rain or shine. The staff at the Hilton is always on their A game and were always on the ready to serve. Jennifer, the Catering Manager came out to make sure everything ran smoothly as well and it’s always a special time for me to share time with her! 
Holly and Jason invited to about 60 people to share in the magic of their day and everyone was on time and ready to go when the ceremony began. What I love the most is real emotion playing out at the altar. 
They talked more with their eyes and their touch and it made this magical moment even more magical. A few breaks in the ceremony to give assurance hugs to each other we in order and you could tell, they just needed a hug. I can wait to return to the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa this summer for more magical moments on the Bay!

Melissa and Rob, a wonderful couple from Chicago, planned their destination wedding with family and friends traveling from all around the country.
From our first meeting online, I knew this was going to be fun and special. Bringing in some fun vendors and Krissy at the coordinator helm, everything came together beautifully. To sum up the day it would be, a perfect Temecula Chamber of Commerce day, especially those from Chicago. A little windy but, how could that have been an issue with people from…. Chicago? Of course, as the sun set, the winds calmed down and a perfect evening was in order for everyone to enjoy.

On Tuesday, May 15, I was invited to attend the San Diego ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) monthly meeting at the beautiful Prado Restaurant in Balboa Park to receive recognition for my efforts with Military Mondays™. They also recognized another San Diego Wedding vendor, Rachel Welland with Bliss Events for her annual contributions to local charities. It was indeed an honor to get a nod for the work we do from our peers. It validates so much, knowing they appreciate what is done for the community and my hope is, this recognition will inspire the San Diego wedding community to help more as well. Peggy Jewell from Jewell Entertainment is a big fan of Military Mondays and although an event planner is not needed for Military Mondays™, she is a lady in the know and has a full list of local musicians that she has offered when in need for Military Mondays™ celebrations. I am honored that she is such a fan and that she wishes to help anytime needed. Rachel Welland with Bliss Events takes a different approach to helping the community. Rather than throw her 5th anniversary with a vendor Thank You party, she opted to have the vendors vote for a charity to receive a $500 gift. Now, at every anniversary, she raises the stakes and has everyone vote. Year 6 was $600, year 7 is $700 and so on. What a wonderful idea. She helps the community and, the wedding vendors take part in suggesting local organizations that could use the contributions and voting. Very cool idea. It’s no surprise that I consider Rachel part of that inner circle of pros that have such wonderful hearts. I am blessed indeed to be in such good company!
Military Mondays™ – Again, another wonderful and beautiful day for a La Jolla Sunset Wedding. Clear blue skies, some puffy white clouds and two people, madly in love and wanting to share in a private, seaside elopement without all the pomp and circumstance of a wedding. David, a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps and Lindsey met with me to exchange their vows. I had sent out a request for a photographer and sadly, no one was available. When Janis from Janis Foley Photography got word, she called and said she would be there to capture the moment for my couple! How cool was that!. There was another ceremony going on in the La Jolla Wedding Bowl so we made our way down to the cliffs and shared the moment. It really is as cool as it sounds… I get to spend my afternoon on the cliffs of La Jolla and sharing a special and romantic moment with happy couples. What could be better?

Vows From The Heart™ – Once again I was asked to share a moment with a couple at a family home, this time a Fallbrook Backyard Wedding with Alisa and John, a wonderful couple from New Orleans and she is just a week away from the title of DR. of Emergency Medicine. 
This Fallbrook Backyard Wedding was closer to Bonsall and was a beautiful ranch style home with plenty of property. From the home, it was a staircase down to the ceremony and reception site that was made just for the occasion among the natural beauty. I was taken by just how nice this area was and to be honest, I have driven this road at least a hundred times over the years and never noticed this little community, right of Pala Rd., amazing. I’m sure their family and friends had a wonderful reception in this very intimate location. Fun, happy and plenty of laughs.. Just like my couple!

Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino Wedding Officiant – Celeste and Michael, a local Spring Valley couple wanted a local, San Diego Wedding venue that would fits their needs of rooms for guests and plenty of fun. 
They found it when they began planning their Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino Chapel Wedding. The ceremony was a reflection of their personalities (a little fun and lighthearted) and their love. This is such a sweet little chapel, located outside the casino, amongst a small lake, complete with ducks and wildlife. And the bridge leading from the parking lot to the resort ads such a beauty to the area. 
Celeste and Michael invited their family and friends to share in their magic and then a wonderful reception awaited their guests. It was such an honor to share in their day. It was such a pleasure to work with MJ, the Catering Manager at Barona. If you have not seen this location, Barona’s Wedding Chapel, designed with a Victorian architectural influence, is an intimate Chapel and holds up to 70 wedding guests. 
For an outdoor San Diego wedding or for a larger party, Lake Terrace offers a warm, inviting atmosphere outside and has a wonderful view of lake and golf course.Either location, it’s a wonderful place to have a Wedding ceremony, a reception and plenty of hotel rooms for you, your wedding party and all your guests. Of course, plenty of food and adult gaming entertainment is at your fingertips.

Temecula Wedding Officiant – A Falkner Winery Wedding is one of my favorites. The Falkner Winery Wedding ceremony locations alone (Garden, Vineyards and Barrel Room)
make a Temecula Wine Country Wedding almost perfect but add in the two reception locations (The Garden or Pinnacle Restaurant overlooking the vineyards) and the Wine Country Wedding is complete. Karissa and Gabriel planned for months to bring the magic to life and indeed it did. From a wonderful group of wedding vendors to Krissy, the Falkner Winery Wedding coordinator, it was a picture puzzle becoming complete. 
The ceremony, honoring the traditions of their faith along with family readings and wonderful music sung by their friends, it was a wonderful celebration that combined so much; fun and romance, tradition and contemporary elements, all at the same time! I love it when it comes together like that.

Vows From The Heart™ – Let’s celebrate another Twin Oaks Garden Estate wedding. Today, the celebration of Ashley and Adrian took place and what a magical moment it was. A hundred or so family and friends, a beautiful spring day with clear skies and warm temps. It was one of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce days if you ask me. Such a pleasure and honor to bring these two together in marriage. 
Just one of those happy couples, so in love and so ready to share their life together and celebrate with everyone. I got the chance to work with Megan once again, she just makes everything come together for a Twin Oaks Garden Estate wedding. I never have to worry or second guess anything, it just happens! There were a few moments in this celebration that stood out. Not only their vows that they read to each other, but during the processional, their flower girl was afraid to step on any of the flower petals in the aisle. I switched my iPad into video mode and was able to grab a few seconds of this. It was, as they say, priceless. (VIDEO BELOW) I am honored to be part of so many celebrations here and always look forward to working with so many wonderful people who help make our couple’s day so easy and as stress free as possible.

Tip Toe through the Rose Petals
Elope to San Diego™ – Jasmine and Richard planned their celebration within just a few days and left Salt Lake City to make their dream La Jolla Elopement come true. Running away with ones beloved, Webster’s definition of the word came to life except, they did bring a few friends to help share in the day. It was incredible. I mean these two were so in Love and were able to bring everything together perfectly. They made it down from Salt Lake, got their license, had their ceremony and are off to Israel for their honeymoon. 
It was indeed a pleasure to share int he magic of their day and as the sun set on the coast, they made their way down to the beach for their formal photos. An amazing day of celebrations for me and the perfect way to end the day in La Jolla.

Aaron and Sheena planned their destination wedding from Phoenix and made sure to bring in some great San Diego wedding vendors to bring it all together! The Wedding Bowl Wedding package I offer my couples makes the ceremony complete and, with my ceremony sound package, it saves them hundreds of dollars. 
They invited a few dozen family and friends to witness the moment at Cuvier Park in La Jolla (aka “The Wedding Bowl) and made sure the reception would be just as awesome planning it just up the block from the La Jolla Wedding site at the beautiful Museum of Contemporary Arts, La Jolla. Rachel from I Do… Weddings! was so on her A game making sure both venues were all set and ready to go on time! Considering the timeline of events of the wedding and reception hall event, she had her hands full. 
By the way, Congratulations to Rachel and her Fiance Mike on their recent engagement. The weather could not have been better, Blue skies, puffy white clouds and breaks of the sun peeking in and out throughout the ceremony. Sheena and her Bridal party arrived in style in a 1929 Durant which was perfect for the occasion. Good to see Lana and Ian again from Arc De Belle, they do wonderful work.
